For more than 32 years, Brazos Valley Gymnastics has been a leader in preschool gymnastics and team competition, fielding numerous individual, team, state, regional, and western champions of the U.S.A.   We have also produced many, many High School All-Americans in both cheerleading and gymnastics as well as National  High School champions. 

Our Goals To teach good solid gymnastics skills. Improve overall physical fitness. Make gymnastics a fun and enjoyable activity for all participants. To  promote a fun and healthy atmosphere for everyone at the gym.  BVGC is a corporation owned and operated by Jim & Julie Foght.  Jim & Julie are graduates of Texas A&M University.  Julie is the head coach of the team program and runs the Acrobus program.  Jim oversees the overall operation as well as coaches classes and teams and maintains the entire facilities including equipment.        The gym is air-conditioned and conveniently located at the corner of Ponderosa and Longmire off Hwy 6 near Rock Prairie Road.  Take the Rock Prairie exit.  Construction of our new facility is alomst completed.  It is located on State Hwy 30 between Bird Pond Rd. and W D Fitch Pkwy.

We would like to thank Chuck and Gena Norris for their generous gift to the gym -- the Total Gym. It is our newest piece of equipment which is used for strength and conditioning, and physical therapy. Thank you very much! Your wonderful generosity is appreciated by all members and coaches of BVGC.

TAKE A BREAK ON PARENTS NIGHT OUT

Take a break. Go out on a date. Enjoy a peaceful dinner or go shopping. Leave the kids with us. Our “PNO’s”, or Friday Fun Nights, are scheduled one Friday a month. They begin at 7:10 PM and run to 10:00 PM. You may drop your children off between those times. We will hold an open gym, play games, and maybe watch a movie. Children 3 and over may attend. The cost is $10.00 for members and $12.00 for non-members. Family discounts are available. Friends are welcome. Children must be picked up by 10:00 PM or before.  July 16 will be the next date for our Parent’s Night Out. There is a sign up list in the office. We guarantee lots of physical activity. 

SEVERAL COACHES MOVING ON

We must say good-by to 3 of our coaches.  Amy Timmer, Kimberly Ashmore, and Jentry Reitan have finished their college education at Texas A&M or Blinn College and are moving on.  They have been part of the family of coaches here at Brazos Valley for several years and have touched the lives of many, many children and young adults as well.  We wish all of them good luck and God bless.  Have a good life.  We will always remember you.  

Congratulations to Courtney Harris on her graduation from Texas A&M. Courtney graduated this month. Courtney has been a preschool student, a Rec class member, a team member, and a coach here at Brazos Valley Gymnastics. She has been a part of the Brazos Valley Gymnastics family since she was 3 years old! Congratulations Courtney, we are proud of you!
